deleting old files

Post by johntd »

I have just set up my weather station and after having a litle play with the software to see how it all works I would like to delete the old data and start afresh, can some one give me step by step instructions on how to do this, many thanks for your time.

I have done that but for one file called "Log" do I have to delete these as well, when I looked at them they seemed more like program files so I have kept them at the moment

That file is actually called 'log.xml' and you presumably still have the default Windows setting of not showing file extensions for known file types, which is a very confusing default. You may want to consider changing that so they are displayed, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/wind ... =windows-7

Many thanks for that I will do that now, so I have to keep the files that are in the log file.

Delete all of the files in the data folder, just as it says in the FAQ.
