Uploading indexT.php file...

I am trying to learn PHP for my site. I created an "indexT.php" file, then moved it to the web folder of Cumulus, in hopes it would be included when Cumulus uploads the "Standard Files". It does not. I then added it to the list of files that Cumulus uploads each time and that worked. Is this the only way to upload the php file regularly?
Help is appreciated....

Yes, the standard files are just that - the files included with Cumulus. The files tab exists so that you can get it to process any other files that you create yourself. Is that a problem in some way? If you have run out of slots, you can add more files by editing cumulus.ini.

If it needs to be processed by Cumulus - yes (or toolbox)
.. but more usually people use 'static' php pages that contain 'dynamic' content.
eg. Current conditions are 'filled in' on the server side (php) by the values of realtime.txt, and / or JavaScript Ajax calls.
So ... php pages are crafted to be a 'standard' content shell which doesn't have to be constantly updated, but portions of the content will be updated by a few relatively small files
... clear as mud
