Re: RSS feed on my web page
Thanks,
Thought I had killed that - have now! NOTE! betejuice's comment only related to the running version not the previously posted attachment! This resulted from testing a php version of the rss file which is now running on public site.
This enables the inclusion of php code amongst the xml - hence the forecast!
To convert the .rss file to .php (and enable the use of php inside the xml) a simple change to the previously posted file
may be made - just add this to the top of the file before anything else ; Then change the output file that Cumulus delivers to cumulus.php
And change the link in the webpage to suit.
You can then add php file or variables into the xml - note, you still need to use the < versions of the '<' etc for the plain xml sections.
The table row entry that is providing the forecast is; NOTE This is not the standard sager script from Buford T. Justice.

Looks good from here - you might want the remove the last tr - /tr which won't ever have data unless you manually enter it.

Re: RSS feed on my web page
2 x pubDate
1 x lastBuildDate
Why so many (all GMT) ?
Because the 2nd pubDate is in <item> it is seen, but this is (obviously in this case) not the same as the 'time' shown.
Wouldn't it be better to have record date / time there ?

Re: RSS feed on my web page
Can somebody please help me. ....
The name of my Cumulus folder is "Weather". I place a cumulus.rss file in it.
Cumulus web page open when I open http://www.mydomain.com/weather and also when i open http://www.mydomain.com/weather/index.htm. Well, this is the same page, but I only see my rss link (icon) on second one. Previously I put a tobyspound href line in it (index.htm) When i Click on that icon, new tab (viewing feed) open but there is no data on it.
I attached my cumulus.rss file......so please be kind and see what I done wrong?
Thanks
Edit: Now I see that my .../wether page refresh normally but without my rss icon on it, and that my ../weather/index.htm page have an rss icon on it but the last refreshing time is at 12.40...how is that?

How about a 'real' link to your site ?

Re: RSS feed on my web page
At the top of the rss file, try changing the encoding to UTF-8

Re: RSS feed on my web page
First of all did you modify your indexT.htm file ?Edit: Now I see that my .../wether page refresh normally but without my rss icon on it, and that my ../weather/index.htm page have an rss icon on it but the last refreshing time is at 12.40...how is that?
Do you have more than one version of index.??? in your site weather/ directory ?
Your webspace is a little odd in that .php is being redirected to .htm (if .php is not found), but any other extension returns a 404 (file not found)
I could not find your page with the RSS link on (perhaps you have removed it ?)
I would tentatively agree with changing the RSS file to utf-8, and also suggest getting rid of the <ttl>1</ttl> line.

Re: RSS feed on my web page
Now I modified my c/cumulus/IndexT page and place into it a href line. I got rss feed icon on my cumulus web page (http://www.sibenikusrcu.com/weather) but when I click into it (the icon) new web tab try to open and in the same time small window appears offering a new bookmark (folder) to store with new link (http://www.sibenikusrcu.com/weather/cumulus.rss). If I bookmark that folder and try to open it, below the folder (in boolmarks tool bar) link stands and below the link there is a "live bookmark field faild to load". If I try to open it, it leads me again on my cumulus web page.
.....I change my RSS file to utf-8, and also change the <ttl>1</ttl> line to 10
edit: also change my hrefline in........."/weather/cumulus.rss" title="Subscribe...........".....which also I can't see (Title)

Re: RSS feed on my web page
Your file has NOT been processed by Cumulus !
It still contains <#webtags> which stuff the xml.

Re: RSS feed on my web page
For the rss / xml file
... so you need to add it to your files to be processed then uploaded (ftp) by Cumulus.
