Cumulus Support

I have a problem with the upload of the dynamic Cumulus files. I uploaded the static files using a ftp software, which worked out without any problems. Second I setup the configuration for how Cumulus should act for the web as described. Here I was stucked because the .htm files don't upload whatever I do.

The images and the realtime.txt upload just as expected but not the .htm files.
I have tried to upload a .htm file using my ftp software and this works fine.

You have probably entered incorrect configuration details in Cumulus - most likely the ftp directory. Please turn on ftp logging, and then attach the ftplog.txt file and a screenshot of your Cumulus internet settings.

I'm not at home right now so I can't post a screenshot or ftplog.txt.
But...if images and realtime.txt find there way to correct host/folder, how could it be wrong ftp directory?

Yes, that is strange, and I agree that it doesn't fit with the ftp directory being wrong. You haven't accidentally unticked 'include standard files' on the files tab?

Nopp, 'include standard files' on the files tab is ticked.

We'll have to wait to see what the ftp log says, then.

As you are using an Apache server setup the upload directory should be /htdocs/cumulus/ for it to work correctly.

OK...here is the FTP log as attached text file.

There are no errors in there. Cumulus is uploading the files and the ftp server is accepting them.

Is this your own web server? Is it perhaps not configured to accept .htm files?

Yes, its very strange because i didn't see any problems i the ftplog either. I have tried to upload a .htm file to the ftp server with ftp software (Classic FTP) and work just fine. Just when Cumulus should upload I can't get it through.
It's a web host server (Manufrog.com) and not my own.

Actually, it doesn't look right. For each .htm file, this is all that appears in the log:

At that point, a data connection should be opened to actually transfer the file. As happens with the image files:

Are there any errors being logged in the diags file?

Seems to be some ftp problems with today.ini. Have a look in attached file.

The ftp server is returning error 426, which is 'connection closed, transfer aborted'. Unhelpfully, there is no reason given for this.

You could try active ftp mode.

I just ticked "Active FTP mode" with no luck. See attached Diag file.
