Cumulus has the possibility to Play soundfiles, when Special Events are triggered.
Is there any possibility to run a script (best with Parameters) if These Events (eg. temp below 0) occured?
So it would be possible to send alert mails or instant twitter notifications.

It's a possible future enhancement. Have you looked at Cumulus Toolbox? That can send emails when certain conditions are met.
