Erroneous Temperature data removal

Hi there, hope this is a simple task, I have an erroneous temperature reading of +54 degrees Centigrade, which clearly in UK in February is clearly wrong for an outside temperature :D
How do I remove this data without affecting all other data.
Help for this newbie much appreciated.

It depends on where the value is. There is information in the FAQ and the wiki about correcting data, which should help you to remove the offending value.
