My Fine Offset station celebrates it's sixth birthday today. Mostly original except for the "windy" bits, these have been replaced a number of times; it's currently on only it's second set of batteries!

Happy Birthday  My Fine Offset recently celebrated it's third birthday. I too had to replace a windy bit, the one that goes 'round and 'round. My fault tho', I whacked it one too many times after it had frozen following freezing rain.

Hahaha!! My first F/O made it to 4 years and I only replaced it because of the round and round windy bit too! :)

That said, the wig wag windy bit was showing signs of age too. ;)

Mine is coming up to it's 3rd birthday and to-date (fingers crossed) I haven't had to replace anything except the batteries. Found that a liberal use of WD40 on the wind parts each year keeps them in working order.

Mine is 4 years and 3 months batteries replaced 1 time (so 4 alkanines) in more as 4 years.
