Cumulus Support

I've narrowed it down to 2 camera's, one has Wide dynamic range (WDR) and one does not.

Would it be required to view cloud and stuff(i'm not interested in night time shots)???

my 2 choices are :

Zmodo 720P HD Outdoor (non WDR) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Zmodo-720P-H ... 3f2fba1e77

and the other is a :

Foscam FI9805W (with WDR) http://foscam.us/products/foscam-fi9805 ... amera.html

the Foscam is $170 and the Zmodo is $100

Is it worth spending the extra $70 to get the Foscam one???

P.s this is my last question as i have 17 hours to decide due to auction finishing on the Zmodo camera!!!!

My camera is set to take three images bracketing the correct (auto) exposure i.e 1 image over exposed, 1 under exposed and one at the auto exposure settings. The software then combines these into a single image. I did this after seeing some images fromKarlS's webcam where he has done the same thing. (HDR)

I find the definition of the clouds to be better, especially on really bright days. The foreground can sometimes appear a little dark and the trees are a bit blurred on windy days due to the time it takes for three exposures (about .7 seconds)

I guess I'll find out if it WAS needed!!!!

received my new Zmodo 720P HD Outdoor web cam, so testing shall begin when I get time!!!

it's about the size of a coffee cup and weights a fair bit...
