Another rainfall bug?

Hi Steve

We had a good downpour at 1316 - which triggered the all time record for rain fall rate for 1 hour 43.3mm

The graph for rainfall per hour showed this peak correctly. However, I rebooted the PC 4 hours later and although the all time record is still showing the correct value, the rainfall per hour graph is showing rain from 1250 - 1300 with a peak of just 3.6mm and no rain at 1316 when the large peak occured

I have not touched any of the Cumulus files

any thoughts ??

While Cumulus is running, it's plotting the graphs at 1-minute intervals. So, most peaks will get plotted. When you restart it, the only data it has to go on is what was recorded in the log file. The log file is just a snapshot of what was happening at the the time the entry was made - the logged rate is the current rate. You have it set to 10 minute intervals, and by the time of the log entry at 13:20 it had stopped raining, so the rate in the log (and hence in the graph) was zero.
