Hi.
Today, when I started up my system in the usual manner, for some reason, the system did not download anything from the logger.
The system had been shut down since yesterday evening.
I noticed this some hours later when I saw that the graphs looked strange, there simply was no data for the shutdown period.
I restored the latest backup created when I started the system, and fired up again.
This time everything worked OK and the archive data was downloaded.
What might have happened?
I have done this almost every day for half a year without any problems.
I enclose the diag files.
I reckon the nr 5-8 are the ones of interest.
I also see a lot of "Error executing external command "60" with params "60". The system cannot find the file specified".
What's that?
Regards

Re: Failed to download from logger.
When it tried to download the logger entries, it wasn't given any, probably due to a communication problem with the logger:XBower wrote:What might have happened?

It looks like you've configured an external command to be run called "60" with parameters "60".I also see a lot of "Error executing external command "60" with params "60". The system cannot find the file specified".
What's that?

Sounds right, but what could be the reason for this?
Could it be that the console has been connected to Weatherlink at the EXACT same time?
If so, would it be possible to configure the system to detect this, and try again a little later?
I'm thinking something like - if this value is 0, wait maybe a 15 secs, and try again.
If this happens 2-3 times - OK, lets go on.
The "normal" thing would be NOT to get a 0, but if so, check again and the continue.

You're right there, for some reason, a "60/60" entry had found it's way into the configuration, don't ask me how.
I sure have not entered this, but it was there. Removed now.
Thanks

Yes, that's quite possibly it.XBower wrote:Sounds right, but what could be the reason for this?

Yes, some kind of retry mechanism is a possibility for a future version of Cumulus. If so, would it be possible to configure the system to detect this, and try again a little later?
