Hi Duke,
You're the second person to report that. I currently run the website on my own server and it seems to be a bottleneck :( .

"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately.”

You can crib the code with "view source" on my page here but if you want the original script code, let me know...
Isn't that Highchart graph based on Mark Crossley's code available in the wiki as Highcharts - Realtime, if not it is remarkably similar.

on another note, my PC switches off for down time. I wonder if there is a way to make the repeat figures in my observation page as N/A instead of repeating a near match figure???

Just a note and a bit of input which may help some members.

I was having trouble with my website display on an iPad. I wanted to reduce the margins when displaying on a narrower browser. A bit of research revealed that I could add a bit of logic to weatherstyle.css for the #content { that would return different left and right margins depending on the width of the browser displaying my website. It even changes the margins as a browser is resized in Windows.

Here's a link to my weatherstyle.css
http://members.aussiebroadband.com.au/m ... rstyle.css

What do you think?

Any similarity is entirely coincidental :) and more a product of the content being what most weather-hams would want to see on a graph I think?

My interest was in being able to develop a working version using Highcharts and the Cumulus recent history tags as some of us are still a long way off PHP and reading data from log files. I'm quite pleased with the result!

Do you think it would be worth adding something to the wiki to cover this kind of implementation?

By all means. I was going to steal a bit our website by the way. We South Aussies need to stick together.

Another option for mobile phones is a separate HTML. I have one for iPhones that detects if the iPhone is in portrait and loads this page. If in landscape, the standard page set loads.

I borrowed a fair amount of the iPhone stuff from Daj and modified it to suit myself.

Just replace the #content ..... in the weatherstyle.css with the @media .... Down to the end of the third @media ....

Make sure you include all of this including the necessary { }.

Change the margins to suit yourself.

looks pretty now!!

works perfect on Google, opera(full) but opera(mini) doesn't like my observations page, doesn't display correctly, but if I change text to small, it fixes that!!!

Looking good at my end Ace.

Have a look at my Gauges page. I've changed gauge dimensions and a few other things to tweak it to work better with the iPad and iPhone. It now uses more of the screen width and makes them readable. Might look better on other mobiles as well.

Ace2,

Have a look at my gauges-ss.css file. I made some minor changes to .content, .gauge and each of the .GaugeSize...

http://members.aussiebroadband.com.au/m ... ges-ss.css

In gauges-ssT.htm, I changed all the gauge sizes to GaugeSizeLrg. I also increased the canvas_status width to 675

I think that is it.
