just a quick thank you to Steve, Nossis and others for helping me create/edit my weather site.

It's a basic cumulus web site that been tweaked around a little

The section I've been creating is the observation pages, which is 5 pages of observations every 30 mins. each page is 24 hours of data.

How did you do the observations? How does it collect and store the data?

Cumulus has always collected the data..

The latest version(1.9.4) uses recent History webtags, it's just a matter or recalling them in a table.

Recent History

There are a set of tags for 'recent historical data', giving data values from 1 minute ago, up to 1 week ago, in 1 minute intervals. Note that the values are initialised from the log files when Cumulus starts, so they will initially have a resolution according to the logger interval you have set in Cumulus and/or your station. You'll get the nearest value if you ask for one for which there is currently no exact match.

You specify how old you want the value to be by using parameters on the web tags for number of days, hours, and minutes. For example, <#RecentOutsideTemp m=1> will give the temperature one minute ago, <#RecentOutsideTemp h=1> will give the temperature one hour ago (as will <#RecentOutsideTemp m=60>), and <#RecentOutsideTemp d=1> will give the temperature one day ago. <#RecentOutsideTemp d=1 h=1 m=1> will give the temperature one day, one hour and one minute ago. All values supplied for parameters must be whole numbers. If you don't supply any parameters, the result is undefined.
webtag Function
<#RecentTS> Takes parameters like the 'recent data' web tags (e.g. <#RecentOutsideTemp>) and gives the timestamp of the data that will be returned for those web tags with the supplied parameters (it may not have the data for the exact time specified). Format can be specified in the usual way with the 'format' parameter.
<#RecentOutsideTemp> Outside Temperature
<#RecentWindSpeed> Wind Speed
<#RecentWindGust> Wind Gust
<#RecentWindLatest> Wind Latest. Note: Wind 'Speed', 'Gust' and 'Latest' have the usual Cumulus meanings

yep, easily change the format/style to suit your needs, just bringing all my pages over to the blue gradient colour scheme by altering the CSS file. trying to get away from the orange style...


also mikechristelow if you wish your data to show every 10 mins instead of 11(12:01, 12:11 and so on)
change your recall time to 11 instead of 10
eg.
<td><#RecentDewPoint h=4 m=11></td>

strange as it sounds, it'll output even 10 mins!!!!

Also added the Steelseries gauges under fancy gauges, still deciding if i'll keep them as i view my page on a mobile device and opera doesn't display(chrome does).

I must do this myself. After seeing your website the other day, I've done some updating on my own site. Steelseries gauges next!

I've done this but not exactly sure what I did - just messing about. I'll add my weatherstyle.css file to this post.

opera mini on android, nothing displays. If it were the full opera, it would be fine!!!

that would be good thanks, I was looking a the images thinking the background colours required it to be edited that way!!!

Always the way, the setting to make the background gauges to transparent happens to be within cumulus, here's me editing the css file, the template file and the ini file... Just required was a simple tick!!!!

anyway, been updating my links at the bottom of page, think they look a little better, might change the colour yet(still orange)......

Back to the observations table - I added a highcharts graph to display [some of] the data from my table, thus:

I tried viewing your graph and tables, but, after some considerable time all I could see was the 'text' from the page.
