Hi,
have seen previous posts on this problem but they don't appear the same
I have moved to a new web host, had no problems uploading Cumulus files before
now when they upload they don't overwrite the previous files
index.htm
index.htmtmp
gauges.htm
gauges.htmtmp
etc
Cumulus v1.9.4
I have ticked the 'delete before upload' box but makes no difference
I am using windows hosting on Godaddy, previously was Linux hosting
thanks
Dale

Re: ftp files not overwriting
If you have 'tmp' files on the server then you are probably using the 'rename' option. You can't use the 'delete' and 'rename' options at the same time - see the help.
It could be that the server doesn't support 'rename'. If you turn that off, you may not need the 'delete' option anyway.
If none of that helps, turn on ftp logging and look at the ftplog.txt file to see what the server's saying.
