That may well be the case, but Cumulus 'catches up' with any gusts it has missed every minute, so they will show on the various records - Today's maximum wind gust etc.
Yes, I know that. But, it doesn't catch up with the wind gusts on the wind gauge or the wind graph.

I don't know what's happened. But, my wind gusts were recording for a few days spot on and now the wind gust are being missed again. I tried changing the USB port and I think that worked. Then, I changed the USB port again and the wind gusts started being missed again. Then, I changed the USB port back to before. But, the wind gusts are still being missed. Maybe it's a CPU problem and something is starting up and increasing the CPU. So, Cumulus can't record every wind gust. Maybe this is the case?

It does sound like your cpu might not be well grounded or has a short circuit. Image

On the other hand, my CPU is below 5% most of the time. So, I can't see how that effects it. Plus, my PC has a Core i7 950 @ 3.07 Ghz processor with 8 GB of RAM. So, it's not like it can't cope with it.

Oh, that wiki definition is a little harsh for defining my intentions, no bitterness at all with my comment ;), just some some good natured, though a bit aggravated joshing/kidding. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/josh

William, let me share this with you. You seem to have a penchant for perfection in the things you do. Be aware that very, very few times you will be able to attain the level of perfection that you seek. But, you can spend/waste much of your life dwelling on these "imperfect" things that you are trying to "fix". Sure, spend some time on something, get it working within normal tolerance and move on to other things that need your attention...otherwise you are going to miss out on many other projects that you won't have time to do. Get it close, tweak it a little, and call it good enough. Some people are "wired" to constantly seek perfection and their biggest battle is battling that compulsion.

Sometimes it's good to stand back and attempt to take an objective look at yourself and try to see yourself as other's see you.

One question and I'll signed off...the tropical scene that you use for your avatar...where is that located?

Ok, I understand. I suppose if that's the way the VantagePro.dll file works. Then, fine.

Where is this tropical scene?

Also, don't quote the entire message that you are replying to, that irritates people, clutters the forum, and makes it difficult to follow the thread.
