Re: DISPLAY DAY
Hi Jim,
If you mean on the Console LCD screen (and it's a Fine Offset - which I believe it is) then AFAIK the answer is No. The Console can only be set to display American (MMDDYY) and "Normal" (DDMMYY) date formats.
Displaying a day (as "Text") is not trivial because it cannot be shown sensibly in a 7-segment display cell and is also different in many languages.
Cheers, Alan.

Re: FINE OFFSET DISPLAY DAY
On my touch screen Fine Offset WH1081, touch the date area once, and the options presented in turn are show the day (2 letters), or the year (2 numbers), or show the alarm, depending on how many times you press + or -. 2nd touch of that area allow to change between day then month and the reverse. Subsequent touches allow you to amend each part of the date and time in turn. Try this on your touchscreen Watson.jim44 wrote:Hi

I cannot believe I'm potentially disagreeing with the expert, but he does say 'as far as he knows'.AllyCat wrote: (and it's a Fine Offset - which I believe it is) then AFAIK the answer is No.
I have no experience of other models, but I would have thought it quite possible the same options are available on them. If the function is not available on the Watson, then sorry for the intrusion.
