Sunrise/Sunset times

Post by Frogwell »

Evening All,

First post here as I'm new to the Cumulus world. I've been running a OS WMR100 for the past 8 years which has been fine and dandy, but no data logger has been bugging me, so I bought a WH1080 yesterday and got it up and running with Cumulus today.

All seems okay (although I'm not sure I believe the rain measurements), but I noticed the sunset and sunrise times were out. I did a search on the forums and found suggestions about making sure the location and time zone are set correctly. Both of them checked and okay, but Cumulus says sunrise is 08:16 an sunset is 15:23, when the correct times are 08:49 and 15:51, give or take a few minutes depending which website of software I look at.

Half an hour out seems a bit weird. Any suggestions?

Thanks :)

You have your longitude as East when it should be West.

Ummm . .yes, I knew that. Really, I did, I was just checking to see if anyone else would notice. I don't feel at all stupid.

Well done, have a coconut.
