Webtag on Monthly Records page

Post by trader3167 »

I have been able to edit all of my web pages to show month, day, year instead of the standard day, month, year. Except for the “Monthly Records” page. When I use the webtag below it shows it correct only on refresh. If I select the December button it shows day, month, year and if I then select January it shows day, month, year. Am I doing something wrong with my webtag?

<#ByMonthTempHT mon=1 format= 'at' h:mm AM/PM 'on' mmmm dd, yyyy></span></td>

below is all of the code

<tr class="td_temperature_data">
<td class="main_table_text_labels">Highest&nbsp;Temperature</td>
<td class="right_align_indented"><span id="TempH<#ByMonthTempHT mon=1 format= 'at' h:mm AM/PM 'on' mmmm dd,yyyy></span></td>

Hi trader3167,

Change:

<td class="right_align_indented"><span id="TempH<#ByMonthTempHT mon=1 format= 'at' h:mm AM/PM 'on' mmmm dd,yyyy></span>

To:

<td class="right_align_indented"><span id="TempH"><#ByMonthTempHT mon=1 format= 'at' h:mm AM/PM 'on' mmmm dd,yyyy></span>

Hope this helps.

William

It sounds like you have only changed the format for the initial values that appear, in the HTML. You will also need to change the tags in the javascript near the top of the template. This will be rather tedious unless you have a clever text editor. And fix that typo that's been pointed out, if that really is in your web page and not just a transcription error here. But I don't think the page would work properly at all if your web page really does have that code in it.

A link to your web site would make diagnosis much easier ;)

Thanks William the typo is not in the original not sure why it posted that way.

Thanks Steve that’s what I thought. Any ideas of a text editor that would make the job easier?

Oh right that's strange.

I use Notepad ++ a lot. It is very easy to use.
