Davis AND 1st Jan AND rain

I just thought I would mention that Cumulus seems to have handled the rain totals today, Jan 1st, very gracefully.
In the FAQ item "It's January 1st and my 'rain since midnight' and/or 'last 24 hours rain' are wrong/negative" (
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#It.27s ... 2Fnegative )
it states that rain figures for today will be wrong for Davis users, particularly if you are using a 9am/10am rollover. Well, apart from the evapotranspiration column in the log file, which went negative from midnight till until 9am when it reset to 0 all other figures to do with rain are correct.

I think I did work out a solution for 'rain today', so that should usually be OK now, but 'since midnight' and 'last 24 hours' are still liable to be incorrect (mine are currently). ET is generally a bit of problem still, and not just on Jan 1st.

That's odd (your rain since midnight). Mine is fine. The only column that went wrong was ET, and that's really no big problem at all to fix (its mostly fixed itself now as far as I can see, just the log file to edit).
Happy New Year by the way.

No, sorry, I'm mistaken. Rain since midnight is OK, it's just the 'last 24 hours' which is the problem.
Happy New Year to you too.

I think you have set your rain season start to April, so the figure on web pages resets to zero then - see

Indeed, yes:
01/01/2014 15:45:38.583 : Getting rain totals, rain season start = 4
Note also that you are using a very old - and beta - version of Cumulus.
