Steve,
you store backup files in the Cumulus backup folder.
The default number of backup files seems to be 2.
Could that number be made settable by the user, please? e.g. as a parameter in cumulus.ini?
I find that on the (rare) occasions when I experience strange data from my station, I may need to go back to a point earlier than the oldest of the 2 backups. Meaning I need to fiddle with editing of several files.
It would be so much easier if I had more backups going back a longer time.

It saves 10 sets of backups. Should do, anyway. It does on all of my installations. I can't think what could be going wrong - at start up it gets a directory listing of the 'backup' folder, sorts it, then deletes the first folder repeatedly until the count is less than 10, then creates a new folder for the new backup.

Do you have anything else in the backup folder that might be interfering with this process?

My fault: there were 8 other files in the backup directory (an old, manual backup).
Have deleted them, and everything will probably be OK in the future: I'm sure 10 backup sets will suffice.
Thanks, Ib
