Relative vs. Abs. Pressure - Maplin N96FY

I'm a newbie and have set up my Maplin N96FY OK, running Cumulus 1.9.4 as a service on Windows Server 2012 r2 and uploading to WOW & Wunderground as well as my own site.
I have a problem with pressure. I have plugged the console into my normal PC to run EasyWeather and it's showing Relative Pressure at 1034.1, Abs at 1007.9. Somehow these values are transmitted in a varying manner up to the two sites, as Wunderground fluctuates between the two. What should I change to correct this, and do I need to change the relative pressure on the console? We're on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment at 92m.

The other problem was that I get the odd wind gust spike, but have just set the spike ignore to 22m/s (hopefully that will work) in Cumulus.
Thanks
Mark

You need to set the relative pressure on the console so that it's correct; there are instructions in the manual on how to do this. There's a copy in the wiki if you don't have one, and there are also instructions in the Cumulus FAQ. Relative (sea level) pressure where you are at this moment is around 1016 hPa.
Do these fluctuation occur when you start and stop Cumulus, or while it's running? See the FAQ for an explanation of why the pressure can change with each start of Cumulus -
http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#Cumulu ... et_console
If it's changing even though you haven't restarted Cumulus, you may have a faulty console.
Make sure you set your WOW details (on the WOW site) to tell it that you are uploading sea-level pressure.

Thanks.
I've had a look at the logs in the Monthly Data Log Viewer and found that for each time there are two almost identical entries - the only difference being the Sea level pressure. I've attached the log.
At 2pm I changed the relative pressure & this whows OK on the console.

I did wonder when I looked at your WU uploads - I think you have two instances of Cumulus running. If you're sure you don't, please zip up the diags folder and attach it.
Note that having changed the relative pressure setting on the console, you need to restart Cumulus to pick up the change.

Doh. I closed Cumulus down, looked at task manager and sure enough, the version as a service is still running.
I'll restart the server, not open the desktop 'version' then leave it and look at the log later to see if that has cured it...
Thanks

I have also just setup a Maplin weather station and being a newbie played with easy weather a while but didn't like it. I found Cumulus and ran both programs together for a while and quickly noticed that the wind speed on cumulus would spike to 26.8mph and easy weather wasn't showing this error.
After some messing around I found that once easy weather was closed down cumulus stopped spiking the wind speed. If i close cumulus before opening easy weather and vice versa everything is good.

Yes, you can't run Cumulus (or any other software) at the same time as Easyweather (or any other software), as mentioned in the readme.txt.
