Cumulus Support

I just got a rebadged Fine Offset station for Christmas Model WS8083. I'm trying to install Cumulus 1.9.4 but after I go through the install and click the start Cumulus nothing happens. The icon is on the desktop and all the files seem to be there. In task manager Processes cumulus.exe is running (3960k). If I double click the icon another process starts but the software does not start. I'm running Win7 pro 32bit. I've set the windows notification to never notify and I'm admin of the computer. Can anyone suggest where I go from here?

Some kind of problem preventing the main window opening, perhaps. If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll take a look, but it sounds like some kind of Windows problem.

The Diags folder is empty. I've set the computer to view all hidden files and unticked Hide protected OS files. I'm picking a Win 7 problem, I've tried two computers (Both Win7 pro)

I got it working thanks. I had to give myself full permissions to the c:\cumulus directory. My login has admin rights but is not THE administrator account.

That's strange, I would guess most people run Cumulus under user accounts.

Its a old post but am a newbie I have Aercus WS8083 and cumulus works fine here with fine offset with UV/light sensor
