Hello,
I have just setup a wh1080, and started to use cumulus.
I experienced what is mentioned in readme, that data will be lost if PC is running cumulus while going to sleep mode.
So there is holes in the datasets
I did not loose a lot of data because of this.
I have tried to search ofr a way to import data for past dates, but this seem very difficult.
Is there a way to choose the data you want to import?
I know that the data is stored in the logger.
Does any got an answer for this ? ( maybe this has been answered in the forum before?)

Cumulus takes a backup of the 'active' data files each time it starts up, and also at the end of each day, in the backup and backup\daily folder respectively. Stop Cumulus and find the latest backup folder from before the missing data. Copy the files from the backup folder into the Cumulus data folder and start Cumulus again. It will download the logger data from the time of the backup.

Thank you for quick answer!steve wrote:Cumulus takes a backup of the 'active' data files each time it starts up, and also at the end of each day, in the backup and backup\daily folder respectively. Unfortunately I did not have any backups before the missing data.
I tried to delete datalogs rows up to the time for the missing data. I did this in the monthlog file. But cumulus skipped the data in the same timearea.
It is not very importent to get these data. It is just data for the first day I setup the station, but I want to learn if something like this happens again.
Is it the "monthlog" file that decide when cumulus collected data last time?

Cumulus uses the time and date information at the start of the today.ini file to determine when it was last running and hence when it needs to download data from.
