Davis Vantage Vue Time Lag

Post by William Grimsley »

Hi there,

I have found a problem with the time on my Davis Vantage Vue. It seems to be lagging behind by 33 seconds on the time on my PC. I set the time to exactly the same time as my PC a few hours ago and it's now behind. I have ticked the box 'Synchronise station clock' in the Configuration-Display settings in Cumulus. But, that doesn't help. Sometimes, this causes the highs and lows to be 1 minute out.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks in advance,

William

You do realize that it only syncs time once a day.Synchronizee station clock
When set, at start-up and at 0400, Cumulus will set the clock on some stations to the same time as the PC (recommended). This setting only applies to Davis and Instrumet stations. Note: it appears that Weatherlink IP does not support this feature.

Yes, I know that. But, surely the time should follow what it always has been.
