WoW and gust speeds
Steve, I have my WoW upload time set at 5 minutes, and my gust time at 10 minutes. Cumulus is catching the gusts either directly, or via the 1 minutes check of the VP2 gust value. However the values on WoW do not reflect those peak values. Cumulus can't be uploading the 'current' speed value as the WoW figures are always higher than the average, I wondered how it determined what value to send?

Ah, no scratch that, I have the gust set to 0 in cumulus.in I and the VP2 seems to use a 5 minute peak hold, so it is possible that peaks are being missed.

Re: WoW and gust speeds
Actually, it seems to be a bug in WoW, the gusts are being recorded in the table view, but the graph view does not reflect them!
So for instance at 11:00 today my tabular data has the gust as 40mph (correct), but the graph shows 34.8mph (wrong)!

Re: WoW and gust speeds
It looks like the WOW graph displays wind speeds in knots despite the scale saying mph. I have submitted a bug report.

Yes, it looks like it. If you switch to 'alternative units', you get exactly the same graph and scale, except that it says 'kn' instead of 'mph'.

Re: WoW and gust speeds
There should be a WoW update sometime this week to fix this issue.
