Barometer
I have seen other users on their Cumulus weather index page use the Barometer in “in” instead of “mb” how is this accomplished.

Re: Barometer
With the standard pages supplied with Cumulus, this happens automatically if you choose "in" for units when you set Cumulus up. Note that if you change units in Cumulus, your previous data becomes invalid.
If you want to run Cumulus with one unit, but display data on your web site in another unit, you can achieve this using JavaScript. Some people have created web pages which allow the user to display the data in the units of their choosing, regardless of what unit is used in Cumulus itself.

Re: Barometer
I have only had Cumulus running for a few days. In the station configurations if I set the pressure extremes to “in” will that solve this? I did this but on my first page update it did not change. Also my low-high in the configuration states 950-1050. Do I need to change this or will that update itself?

Re: Barometer
Yes, but as I warned, if you do that your data is invalid, e.g. you will have an all-time high around 1000, which you will never now exceed. You may want to consider stopping Cumulus and deleting the contents of the data folder.trader3167 wrote:I have only had Cumulus running for a few days. It's possible that you may need to restart Cumulus.I did this but on my first page update it did not change.
Do you mean the forecast settings? You can set those in mb or in independently of the units you've chosen for the rest of Cumulus - see the help. But as you have a Davis station, I would normally expect that you would use the Davis forecast rather than the Cumulus one, as the Davis one tends to be better, so those settings would be irrelevant. Also my low-high in the configuration states 950-1050. Do I need to change this or will that update itself?

Re: Barometer
I set the pressure extremes to “in” I did this by going to configuration- stations then made the change in the lower right (pressure extremes). Shut down the program deleted the data folder restarted and it still reads “mb” on the index page.

Re: Barometer
Sorry, I misread your previous post. The way to change the pressure units is in the 'Units' panel towards the centre of the station settings screen. The 'pressure extremes' settings in the 'forecast' panel is only for the Cumulus forecast.
