If you're running Easyweather and Cumulus at the same time, that's the cause of the erroneous readings.

I'm not running both together Steve, I tried easy weather to see if the data was corrupt in that as well, which it is. The errors are on Cumulus working alone. Just checked this morning, I deleted all my data yesterday, but it's showing 246 in of rain and a wind run of 167 miles. :(

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll take a look.

You've selected a station type that has solar sensors, but it looks like your station isn't the type that has those. The memory layout is different, hence the garbage data.

Hi Steve,
I'm using a W8681 with solar charging batteries, and have checked Fine Offset with UV/light sensor, i'm pretty certain that this is the setting I used efore I had to reformat my PC, am I using the correct one .

Having a solar charger isn't the same as having solar sensors, and it looks very much from what I can see that yours doesn't have solar sensors. Can you display Light and UV values on the console? The correct station type setting for a station without solar sensors is "Fine Offset (WH1080 etc)".

I've also noticed that you're allowing your PC to suspend while Cumulus is running; this will cause gaps in your data once you do have it set up correctly.

When did you change the setting? If you've only just done it, then some things like rain total and wind run for today will still be affected by the old settings. To zero today's wind run, you need to edit today.ini, with Cumulus stopped. You can set today's rain total from the editor on the edit menu. If you only edit the records, and the current values are still high, the records will immediately get overwritten by the current value.

Note that all the time you've been running with the wrong station type selected, a lot of your readings will be invalid anyway, not just the ones which are clearly too high.

Hi Steve,
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Cumulus, hope this'll do the trick, I've lost my records, but they were only for a short period as I'd lost everything ina major PC crash about 2 weeks ago. It all looks OK, rainfall. wind run etc.

Uninstall/reinstall doesn't actually do anything, but it sounds like you also deleted your data, which was probably a good idea as a lot of it would have been invalid anyway.
