Twitter updates

Post by KenAdam »

Today I moved Cumulus to a new PC and everything seems to be working apart from Twitter updates.
When it had not updated after 3 hours (60 minutes set), I tried shutting down, deleting the Oauth lines from cumulus.ini and restarting.
After the next Cumulus shutdown these lines had been restored (to exactly as on the old PC), but there is still no sign of Twitter showing updates.

Is there anything else I can check? (e.g. does a twitter connection failure get logged anywhere?)

Thanks,
Ken

Spoke too soon...
While I was typing the post, it had finally decided to update (after about 4 hours!)
After 40 years programming them, I think I hate computers.

Twitter seems to be like that. You were almost certainly getting "403 forbidden" errors from Twitter, and then suddenly for no reason it starts working.
