Hi all
My WH1090 (from memory) has been tirelessly working away since 1/1/2010, but one of my anemometer cups has broken off so I figured its time to get a new one and I'm going to reposition it closer to the base station to try and reduce the occasional spikes.
Can I just confirm the WA2080 or WA2081 are supported by Cumulus? I saw that it's not specifically mentioned in the FAQ's but I assume it does use Easy Weather so should be ok.
Also does anyone know what RCC stands for as one has it and the other doesn't?
Should I buy any other FO model instead?

Yes, both of those work with Cumulus.
RCC is "radio-controlled clock", i.e. the console clock is updated automatically from a broadcast time signal. From what I've read, and perhaps someone else could confirm this, RCC on Fine Offset stations seems to be more trouble than its worth (if you're even within range of a compatible transmitter where you are) and Cumulus doesn't use the station clock anyway.

I don't believe that the RCC versions (WHxxx1) are normally sold in Australia, because the nearest transmitter is in Japan (and might not use a compatible radio frequency anyway).
In addition to getting the receiving antenna aligned to the correct direction (it's directional and located inside the external sensor unit), the microcontroller stops sending sensor data for up to 5 minutes each hour or two, whilst it checks the RCC time and transmits it to the Console.
It's usually much quicker to set the time on the Console manually, and as Steve says it doesn't need to be set (for Cumulus) anyway.
The FO "Solar" versions (WH3xxx) seem quite popular in Australia, but many "issues" with poor reliability and accuracy have been reported, so again probably more trouble than it's worth.

Fantastic, thanks for that Steve and Alan!! No I certainly don't need the clock as I think the closest transmitter to me is in Japan if it uses the same one the watches use.
