Morning, i am following the wiki to ftp dayfile.txt to my host server.
i seem to have added the run batch command twice by mistake.
I know this as when i pressed AT the second time it printed up a list of 2 commands (at 10:10 .....etc)
how do i undo one of them please?
secondly i tried to click on the batch file to manually ftp to see if it worked, but without success.
please can someone cast an eye
dayfile.ftp =
(myusername)
(mypassword)
cd cumulus
put C:\Cumulus\data\dayfile.txt
quit
upload-dayfile.bat=
ftp -s:C:\Cumulus\dayfile.ftp ftp.maidenerleghweather.com
i changed the C drive and the word cumulus to have upper case Cs as this is what it is on my system??
to automate i have also put C:\Cumulus\upload-dayfile.bat in the daily box in internet settings.
any ideas please?

For your second AT job, just run the command "AT" it should list the jobs scheduled, then run "AT id /delete" where id is the id from the list of the one you want to get rid of.
Do you have Cumulus configured for active or passive FTP?

Re: batch file ftp'ing
hi - apologies, just seen your reply.
i am not sure if i have it as active or passive?
i will check tomorrow at work. which boxes should be ticked?
aside to this i cannot get the batch file to work from home. should it ftp when i open it? nothing gets sent to my host and i have all of the paths correct?

Where I was going is the the FTP built-in to Windows only does active FTP, so if you need PASV, you will have to use a third party tool.

ah ok, wonder why manual batch file strategy doesn't work though?
