Buying a 'New' Weather Station?

My trusty WH(1080) has been running since May 2009 and really have enjoyed using it despite the occasional recording of biblical deluges on bright sunny days and low temperature not found even on the surface of the moon at odd times in the year!! However it did let me down in the last big storm we had, when the highest gust it could muster was 35mps when I'm convinced it reached the 40mps range. We had a tree down to prove it!!!

Anyway I am thinking of making a change, of getting a new, more up-to-date station with a UV sensor as well. I still want to use Steve's brilliant Cumulus (Another donation on the way Steve!), and can't afford or justify buying a Davis Vantage - much as I'd like one.

Do I look at a replacement Fine Offset with a UV sensor? What about an Oregon with a UV sensor.

With Christmas on its way, maybe others are thinking like me. So any comment of suggestions would be welcome!!
