Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
Turn on ftp logging on the configuration menu. Then, after an upload should have taken place, zip up the diags folder and attach it to a reply here, together with the ftplog.txt file. Please also give the URL of your web site.

Here's the problem:
18:25:03:345 Changing directory to www.2-way.de/http/wetterstation/cumulus
18:25:03:345 FTP Command: CWD www.2-way.de/http/wetterstation/cumulus

18:25:03:378 >|550 www.2-way.de/http/wetterstation/cumulus: No such file or directory|
The directory path you have supplied to Cumulus does not exist, according to your ftp server.

Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
Here are the errors from the file you've just sent me:
18:20:03:451 Changing directory to www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus
18:20:03:451 FTP Command: CWD www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus
18:20:03:452 04FA0450 TriggerDataSent 776
18:20:03:500 FTP Response: 550 www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus: No such file or directory
18:20:03:500 >|550 www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus: No such file or directory|
So the path IS wrong, despite what you say in your private message.
You also seem to be using 'delete before upload' AND 'rename'. This combination does not make sense and does not work, as it says in the help file. Turn one of them off.
If you wish to continue this, please do it here, and not by private message. But you need to correct the problems that I've told you about, rather than insisting that I'm wrong.

Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
You are still getting an error with the path.
18:20:03:451 Changing directory to www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus
18:20:03:451 FTP Command: CWD www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus

You are still using 'rename' and 'delete before upload' after I've told you to turn one of them off. If your server needs you to delete a file before you upload a new one, leave that set but turn off the 'rename' option.
You are getting a 'permission denied' from your server when Cumulus tries to upload a file.

Oh well, I tried my best. I can't be expected to solve everyone's problems for them; maybe 99%.

Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
No, the mistake does not "lie where differently." (Attempting a conversation via Google translate, perhaps??)
The FTP log is telling you that your account does not have permission to write files to your web hosting computer. This is precisely the issue--not something else.
It is also telling you that the folder or directory your are trying to copy files to DOES NOT EXIST:
18:20:03:451 Changing directory to http://www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus
18:20:03:451 FTP Command: CWD http://www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus
18:20:03:452 04FA0450 TriggerDataSent 776
18:20:03:500 FTP Response: 550 http://www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus: No such file or directory
18:20:03:500 >|550 http://www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus: No such file or directory
You should confirm that you have the paths right in Cumulus. Try: wetterstation/cumulus
Trying to change directory to: http://www.2-way.de/wetterstation/cumulus is almost certainly incorrect.
If the path is correct, contact your web hosting company and ask them what the problem is.

Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
Because you have the 'rename' option selected. They are uploaded with 'tmp' on the end of the file name, and then renamed on the server to the correct name.

Re: Cumulus stores no more state kind files
To avoid over-writing the template file when it is processed, it means Cumulus can store a copy of the processed file locally awaiting copy/ftp. Cumulus knows that file name will be unique. It renames the tmp file to correct file name when it is copied/ftp's to its final destination.
