Google forms and script

Anyone here using Google forms for anything?

I'm trying to simplify the membership applications for our beekeeping association. I've got the form working and the data gets stored in a spreadsheet. All OK so far.

What I want to do is use script to validate some of the data entered on the form. The form has very little validation built in.

Is there a way to edit the form's script to add a few small tweaks?
