bug report

Post by Jerry »

I've been getting these just about everyday. Attached is one for June 13.
When I get the error screen from cumulus, the past 2 times there are no records recorded.

Thanks for your help,

Jerry

The error is: Unable to write to C:\Program Files\Cumulus\data\today.ini

The only suggestions I can make are that it's either a permissions problem, or a conflict with something like an antivirus program. On the occasions before where people have had this and fixed it, it has been one of those two problems. Do you get the problem at about the same time every day? Have something that runs at about that time that might be locking Cumulus out?

Thanks Steve.

I'm not getting them at the same time, but I will try and make note when I get another what was happening at the time the error occurred. Also I have not noticed what the other errors were. Should I post another report if it is a different error?

Yes please. Even if it's the same error, it might be useful to see it.
