I opened dayfile.txt to edit it, and discovered that it has never (since 2010 when I started using Cumulus) recorded any data past the 18th column 'time of high average wind'.
The data that is recorded seems to be valid, so why is the rest of the data not there? Any help would be appreciated.
Richard.

Re: Missing data
Please zip up the diags folder and attach it, together with your dayfile.txt file.
What editor were you using on the file - the one in Cumulus on the edit menu, or something like notepad++ ? You aren't perhaps trying to use the Cumulus monthly data log viewer with dayfile.txt? That viewer has about 18 columns.

Re: Missing data
I'm sorry, but I can't see any problems. Here are the last few lines from your dayfile.txt, and it's logging all of the fields:
25/10/13,5.4,180,10:40,12.5,00:38,19.3,12:23,1000.7,06:51,1008.4,00:14,3.6,04:11,3.6,15.9,38.6,2.7,15:36,75,15:35,99,01:07,0.00,0.0,19.3,12:23,21.2,11:15,13.2,00:38,2.1,06:07,12.5,00:38,17.9,10:52,12.2,00:38,227,2.4,0.0,0,00:00,0,00:00
26/10/13,7.1,315,23:45,13.6,19:30,16.6,09:57,998.1,23:47,1005.4,11:13,18.0,19:11,6.9,15.3,60.8,3.4,23:34,82,08:52,99,19:07,0.00,0.0,16.6,09:57,17.8,12:42,13.4,20:14,2.7,19:21,13.5,20:14,14.9,21:42,12.4,04:46,244,3.0,0.0,0,00:00,0,00:00
27/10/13,9.2,315,15:07,11.6,07:10,16.6,11:39,988.1,23:59,998.2,00:00,10.8,15:27,16.2,13.7,77.5,3.4,00:47,57,11:46,99,01:46,0.00,0.0,16.6,11:39,16.0,00:59,10.0,06:58,3.6,23:59,10.9,06:58,14.6,01:11,7.7,11:48,261,4.8,0.0,0,00:00,0,00:00
And when I load your dayfile.txt into the editor in Cumulus and scroll down to the latest data, it's all there:
And you get blank fields after column 18 all the way to the end of the file? That's very strange.
I'm afraid I have no idea why the editor isn't showing the rest of the data for you, it's hard to see how it could avoid showing it. I can't see any errors in the diags file, and the dayfile.txt file is fine, so Cumulus is apparently working fine other than this strange problem with the editor. Does the error light flash after you've opened the editor?
