Mis-reading humidity

Post by TeslaJim »

I am using the Fine Offset weather station. Easy weather shows the humidity at 56% but Cumulus is reading 10%

I am using Cumulus 1.9.3 and Easy weather 6.2

Has this bug been noted before?

For comparison my Davis Vantage Pro show 52% indoors and 89% outdoors.

I'm not aware of any bugs in Cumulus in this area. Cumulus usually correctly displays the humidity reading from the station. But of course it's not unusual for Fine Offset stations to send incorrect readings to the PC. Cumulus ignores any 'out of range' values. Presumably you are not trying to run Easyweather and Cumulus at the same time? What does the console show? Is it the indoor or outdoor humidity which is showing 10% in Cumulus?

Please turn on the debug log for five minutes, then attach the debug.log file here (from the folder where Cumulus is installed), together with the zipped up diags folder.

You were right; I was looking at the inside humidity on the console and it shows inside humidity at 55% and dashes for outside.

So it is clearly the hardware. Sorry for the mis-information.
