Relative Pressure setting for W-8681-SOLAR

Post by agsteele »

One of the frustrating things about many consumer electronic devices is the poorly written manual.

It is now many moons since I set my 8681-SOLAR unit to display the correct relative pressure for my altitude.

I'm conveniently close to a Met Office station so can be pretty certain of the accurate figure but I'm blowed if I can work out from the manual how to set it...

Anyone have any experience?

I think the manual for the Fine Offset is rather clear but I'm not sure if the manual in the wiki applies to your station http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Fineoffset_manual

Thanks Ron. Actually the W-8681-SLAR is rather different to the one you referred to but that did me some clues to interpret the rather obtuse manual that came with my station.

Thanks for the advice.
