Hi some consiberable time ago i installed cumulus on a laptop it was never attached to a station i did this to learn about it i also had it on the web just manually updating when i made changes i have since transfered it to a desktop at my station and apart for one glitch been updating for 24 hs. my question is when i first setup cumulus i put in the Lat Long of our old station we have moved around 10 meters (the head office are a bit picky about Lat long) the old settings are
53.55.02 and 003.03.4 the new ones being 53.55.33 and 003.02.69 when i try to change the settings cumulus refuses to accept them and reverts to the old ones is it the way i am putting in the figures or is there something else to change please?

Re: Station Settings
I think you are trying to enter decimal minutes as minutes and seconds in Cumulus?
003.02.69 is really 003 degrees 2.69 minutes = 3 deg 2 minutes 41 seconds
53.55.33 = 53 deg 55 min 20 sec

Re: Station Settings
Hi Mark
Thanks for your reply yes we work in hours mins and secs it's a nautical thing, as is latitude always comes before longitude ie lat long I will put in your suggestions next time I am on duty I would like your gauges on our site but being a novice with relative paths I have chickened out. Thanks again for your reply.

Re: Station Settings
The reason I say that I think you have decimal minutes is that 2.69 does not correlate to valid minutes.seconds (they can only go up to 59 and you have 69).
The path thing for the gauges is fairly easy to work out, just have a go and call for help if you need it.
