WMR88 Rain Sensor problem

Hi all, another problem to sort out if possible. On Cumulus I see that my readings are saying 4.3mm of rain today even though it has been dry for months. It showed this yesterday and I eventually manually cleared it but it keeps coming back. When I check my graphs it shows Rainfall rate zero mm. Daily rain rate zero mm, Rain today 4.3 mm as I say even though it has not rained. When I go to "Edit - Todays rain" it shows, Current Rain Counter 4.318, Start of rain counter 4.318, Rain multiplier 1.000, Todays rain so far 0.000, The desired total changes from 0.000 to 4.318 each time I open the "Todays rain" Anyone got any ideas please. billygray.

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it. What is Cumulus showing for 'Today' in the 'Rainfall' section on the main screen?

Here is a link with the zipped Diags folder. The Rain for today on the main screen of Cumulus is showing 0.0 mm but earlier today it was showing 4.3 mm it changes every time I check my weather. like I said earlier the graphs are showing rain on one graph and none on another.

You restarted Cumulus several times around midnight, which is not recommended as it can interfere with its end of day logging, particularly as your station has no logger. At the last entry in the diags file, the value for today should have been zero, as the current counter and the start of day counter were the same:

16/10/2013 20:30:01.026 : Writing today.ini, LastUpdateTime = 16/10/2013 20:30:00 raindaystart = 4.31799983978271 rain counter = 4.31799983978271

It's probably best if you don't try to use the 'today's rain' editor again as that is just confusing things. I suggest that you leave it alone for now, don't restart it close to midnight tonight, and if you still have problems tomorrow, don't attempt to use the editor, but zip up the diags folder along with the today.ini file and the October log file and attach it here and I'll take another look.
