Display my station on Wunderground
I think I've ticked all the right boxes and given it a name and password. I can't see it on Wunderground yet, so what's the next step, please?

What is your WU station ID? If you turn on the debug log, then wait until a WU update should have taken place, the debug.log file in the Cumulus folder will show the attempted update with any error message returned by WU.

That didn't work. How do I give my Station a name on WU?

Re: Display my station on Wunderground
when I set up mine the station name was set by weather underground. could you check under your username the my weather stations and that should list your weather station name and if it is active.

Re: Display my station on Wunderground
you will need to use that together with your username and password to upload. it can take 24 hours before your data will show but the debug log should tell you if the upload was successful
sorry cumulus needs your station id and password if you have a webcam uploading via ftp that is when you need your camera id username and password.

Re: Display my station on Wunderground
Debug is saying username and password incorrect. My Station is now showing on WU, but says 'Not reporting'.
I'll leave it for a bit, thanks.

Re: Display my station on Wunderground
With regard to Weatherunderground (kcacalif10). I have enabled debug logging and am using Win 7 OS with Easyweather V6.2 and Cumulus 1.9.3
I find no uploads to WU and no entries in the \diags\cumulus.001 log file showing failures.
I have only entered data only into the Wunderground section of the Internet Settings with Enabled checked and my station id and password filled in.
I suspect I am missing something really simple. I have read that perhaps WU will wait over 24 hours to start, but shouldn't there be at least an entry into the log file showing an upload?
Also I assume that Easy Weather must always be running as Cumulus just reads EasyWeather's data file. Is this correct?
Thanks.

In the debug.log, yes, if you have turned it on (on the configuration menu), not in the diags log.TeslaJim wrote:I suspect I am missing something really simple. No. You should select the 'Fine Offset' station type and not run EW at the same time. This method is far superior to the old 'easyweather.dat' method which required EW to be running. Also I assume that Easy Weather must always be running as Cumulus just reads EasyWeather's data file. Is this correct?
