Cumulus Support

Hi Steve,

Hope you can help here - I am having intermittent problems getting a WS1083 to communicate via USB.
This stopped working after upgrading the PC from XP to Windows 8. I did have it working when logged in as administrator, but it stopped again when I had to reinstall Cumulus under another username, and I have been unable to get it working since.
Is this just that the station requires a reset or is there a bigger problem here. It seems to have picked up the station ok with the 55 AA header, but does not seem to be able to extract any useful data.

It's ignoring the data because your pressure reading is way off the scale:

You could try resetting the relative pressure, but it looks like the reading is drifting quite badly anyway:

So I suspect your pressure sensor is faulty.

In 1.9.3 Cumulus ignores all the data if one reading is obviously bad. 1.9.4 only ignores the particular sensor(s) which are bad (which would at least get your other data displayed).

What is the acceptable range for the pressure - is the value coming from the weather station in specific units eg mb, etc ?

Also where do I find the the download for version 1.9.4 - I have looked through the beta forum and can only find heaps of discussion about various different builds but no download link.

Cumulus discards anything below 900 mb (adjusted to sea level) and above 1200 mb as impossible.
