Wishlist for V2

Post by eddyr »

Probably a bit presumptuous but I couple of things I would really like to see in V2:

I like the Select-a-Graph but:

I would like the graph to be bigger.

I would like to be able to select more than one parameter to graph at the same time i.e. I would like to be able to see any correlation between, lets say, pressure/wind speed/ temperature over a given period.

I would also like to be able to compare 2 or more different time periods on the same graph i.e. have a temperature graph for 11 June 2008 compared against one for 11 June 2009 both on the same matrix.

Something else would be to have a vertical cursor line that could be moved across the graph and would give a read out in a text box or similar of the time/date and the value of the parameters where they cross that line. I have some old electrical logging software that does it and it is not only very useful but easy to use.

Thanks - all reasonable suggestions, some of which I was planning to include anyway, in some form. The only caveat is that I am always restricted in what I can do by the components I use.

Hello, this is my first post here.

I think the above suggestions sounds great. I would like to expand the suggestion to invoke the web parts of the application. I would like to see a select-a-graph in the web page for instance.
