Cumulus is telling me we got 772.44 inches of rain last night. I'm pretty sure we didn't since the puddles are really small. I cannot find a corresponding number to edit, the Dayfile.txt is fine. It's in the all time record this 772.44 appears. I'd appreciate some help fixing this. I am somewhat computer literate and it's Win 7, Ambient station.
Thanks!

Re: Erroneous Rainfall record
Use the all-time record editor on the Edit menu. You can either get the editor to fetch the correct values from dayfile.txt, as that is correct, or manually reinstate the old record, which will be in the alltimelog.txt file. See the wiki for the format of alltimelog.txt, if it isn't obvious - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Alltimelog.txt
Fine Offset stations have a habit of inventing rainfall, and Cumulus usually copes with most of this, particularly if you use the 'spike removal' settings on the calibration screen. There also entries in the FAQ and in various places in the wiki about correcting rainfall data.
