solar & uv sensor

I bought a solar and uv sensor and I just wonder if I need to do any settings for these in the console or is it just to mount them up and connect them in?

Don't expect instant readings. Usually takes around 60 seconds to get a reading from both of those sensors after they're plugged into the ISS.beelzebubs wrote:Ok, thanks i'll give it a try and see what happens.
The UV & Solar sensors only update every minute, which is the normal update interval for these units.BigOkie wrote:Don't expect instant readings. Every five minutes when it's dark. Which is why sometimes you'll see a sudden jump on your UV meter. At least I do. I have some trees in the eastern horizon that aren't incredibly tall, but I do see a jump directly to 0.5 almost every morning.mcrossley wrote:Even longer if it's dark iirc.
There's a minimum threshold reading on the UV sensor. Can't recall without checking exactly what it is, but it could well be 0.5.BigOkie wrote:Every five minutes when it's dark.
