Latitude/Longitude Errors when shown on APRSIS32

Hello, When I have set my coordinates as 53 35 54 N & 02 20 23 W using the configuration settings. Why when it posts data to APRSIS32, my coordinates change?
the change is minimal, but i cannot understand why. If you use APRS, check out my home station MB7UMC that is shown correctly, but my weather details under M0MSC are shown approximatly 1/2 mile away!
Many thanks
Mike

You are confusing degrees/minutes/seconds (which Cumulus uses) with the degrees and decimal minutes format which APRS uses. According to APRS, MB7UMC is at 53°35.54' N 2°20.23' W which is not 53 degrees 35 minutes 54 seconds latitude. If those co-ordinates really are correct, you need to convert them to d/m/s for entry into Cumulus.

Hello Steve, I'm using version 1.9.3 build 1059.
I'm using the APRS/CWOP setting, with a correct user and password. Please have a look on APRSFI, you will see the error in my WX location.
regards
Mike

Sorry, Mike, I spotted what the problem was and edited my post; you weren't online when I started.

If your MB7UMC co-ordinates of 53°35.54' N 2°20.23' W are correct, those translate to
53 deg 35 min 32 sec N
2 deg 20 min 14 sec W

OK, thanks for your assistance, i will put these in and see what happens. I shouldn't try to rush these sort of things!
Once again, many thanks for your help.

The slight difference is because the one second resolution that Cumulus uses (which is more than adequate for weather purposes) is slightly larger than the one hundredth of a minute resolution that APRS uses. If it's an issue, you can stop Cumulus, edit cumulus.ini and supply the co-ordinates (in decimal degrees) to any resolution you want, using the Latitude= and Longitude= lines, as long as you don't subsequently change anything using the station settings screen (in which case they will get reset to the nearest second).
