Editing reading errors

Please advise how to amend/correct the following

i) the Min/max graph that scales to 3/12/09 to 1/12/19

ii) the Daily Rain graph that scales to 1/1/09 to 1/1/21

iii) edit/correct/reset incorrect rain/max temp entries which continue to appear on the "High/Low since" page

Unfortunately I managed to obtain a number of erroneous readings whilst attempting to set up a Maplin/Watson station eg:
999 deg max temp on 2/6
-500 deg lowest max on 2/6
plus an erroneous rain measurement for 29/5

I have edited the May09 and Jun09 log files as far as I can see and zeroed the 999/-500 entries which appeared in the dayfile

Thanks

T

NB I have problems in attatching the relevent files to the post - the BB logs me out.

It may be that the forum doesn't allow you to attach files until your first post has been aproved.
i) the Min/max graph that scales to 3/12/09 to 1/12/19

ii) the Daily Rain graph that scales to 1/1/09 to 1/1/21
I don't really understand what you're saying - if the start and end dates that those graphs are showing are wrong then you have some sort of problem in dayfile.txt.
iii) edit/correct/reset incorrect rain/max temp entries which continue to appear on the "High/Low since" page
The all-time max temp you edit with the Edit | All time records. Similarly for rain, unless it's the highest monthly total that you want to correct, in which case you need to edit the daily totals in dayfile.txt.

Graph scales fixed...many thanks for this.

That was not the particular error I was scanning for and not sure how it got there. I did edit as csv in excel but not change any of the cell properties.

Please see High/low page ...the temperature errors for 2/6 remain

thanks

Tony

As I said earlier, you need to use the all-time record editor to correct those.
