Hi, I'm a new user to the Cumulus Software and have a couple of questions.
I'm in the US and would like to see the date formats in the following formats: MM/DD/YYYY, Month, DD, YYYY, is this possible? I checked my Windows default date formats and they're correct.
Also I'm running my display at 1920 x 1080 and the Cumulus Window only fills a small portion of my display. Is it possible to resize the window? I've tried the standard windows options, maximize, dragging a corner and / or edge with no success.
So far I'm very pleased with the software. I currently own WeatherLink and VWS and find this product superior to both.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: New User - Date Format and Window Size
Cumulus uses the Windows date formats in most places where it displays a date. Well, I think it does, anyway. Where is that you're seeing in them in some other format? It may be easy to correct.HBDave wrote:I'm in the US and would like to see the date formats in the following formats: MM/DD/YYYY, Month, DD, YYYY, is this possible? No, sorry, it's much too hard to make the window resizeable now (other than simply allowing the window to resize but leaving large blank areas, which isn't a great deal of use); I'd have to rewrite a lot of the code. The 'new' version that I'm currently working on (very slowly) will have a browser interface which will be completely configurable. Also I'm running my display at 1920 x 1080 and the Cumulus Window only fills a small portion of my display. Re: New User - Date Format and Window Size
Steve,
Thank you for your very prompt reply.
I'm referring to the date presentation on the main screen. Currently reads "09 September 2013", would prefer "September 09, 2013". Also on View This Year - Averages and Extremes reads Day 07/09 (DD/MM), would like to see 09/07 (MM/DD), etc. Sorry to be nit picking, I just thought there might be a configuration option I'm missing. Thanks again for a great product.
PS: View - High / Lows reads: HH:MM:SS on DD Month (ex: 10:42:12 AM on 07 September)
Thanks,
Dave

Re: New User - Date Format and Window Size
The dates on the 'This Year' screen are that way because they are simply text copied from the log files (which have to be dd/mm/yy) but I admit it's confusing, and I'll see if I can do something about that at some point. It's less likely that I'll change any of the places where the month is explicitly stated until I run out of other things to do.

Steve,
I completely understand and thanks again for a great Weather Station Application. I think a donation is in order!
