Station bleeping

Post by jimred »

My weather station keeps bleeping I have changed the batteries twice but I don't think it's that.
On the display where the Rh is displayed there's a little panel flashing which looks like a battery sign 1/4 of its black and looks like TX inside the box
Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim,

The "TX" icon indicates that the transmitter battery voltage is getting low (or the contacts need cleaning). Note that on some models it only updates at midnight (or when reset).

AFAIK it has nothing to do with the bleeping, which several other people have reported recently. If you don't have any alarms set (usually associated with a "bell" icon flashing on the LCD) then I'm afraid it's probably a hardware fault. But obviously a full reset (remove USB cable and the batteries) is worth a try.

Cheers, Alan.
