Ambient Weather 2080 Communication Lost

Post by redidbull »

Hi, I recently bought a WS-2080. It was working fine for a while then lost communication with Cumulus. I noticed that if I went to Easy Weather it was still OK. I reset the 2080 and everything seemed OK. But then this morning it did it again. While I had Easy Weather running I went in and changed the station to retrieve data through the programs files but that didn't seem to work either. Any ideas? Thanks. Jim

It's a common problem with Fine Offset stations, but normally Easyweather can't talk to the station either. The exception to that is when the first bytes of memory don't have the values which say that the station is working correctly. Easyweather ignores that warning, but Cumulus doesn't. You can override this in Cumulus if you want - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#When_I ... ialised.22

If you zip up the diags folder and attach it. I'll take a look.
