Web Help needed - buggered around too much !

Hi guys.
I've seen a whole bunch of great stuff, however I have tried to include much of it and finally just got completely stuck, short of undoing it all and starting again.

having trawled through forum posts, and tried to get one thing or another working, I am hoping that someone might be able to get a sticky post going on my behalf.

I love the historic graphs and so on, but I feel i have things all in the wrong place.

Can anyone help with the addons, and where things might or should have gone.

for example:

The standard pages
<root>
# htm pages
index.htm
today.htm
yesterday.htm
#special
realtime.txt (check the realtime upload in cumulus settings>internet)
<images>
list of Images
<css>
weatherstyle.css


historic graphs
<root>
historicgraphs.htm
historicGraphs.min.js
realtimelog.txt (built using cumulus toolbox)

steel series guages
<root>
guages-ss.htm
realtimeguages.txt (upload and process realtimegaugesT.txt)

or something like that for each of the bells and whistles. its hard to work out somethines whre things should have gone, as there is no real standard directory structure being followed.
