I have a problem which has suddenly developed. Every day it records a Record Wind Run even when there has been very little wind. Is there a solution or fix for this?
Thanks
Chris

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it, along with your alltime.ini file and alltimelog.txt file.

Re: Wind Run reading incorrect every day a record?
You have your station's logger interval set to two hours. So when Cumulus uses logger data, it doesn't do the daily rollover because it 'misses' midnight. So the wind run total, and all of the other data just keep accumulating. With a two hour logger interval, you could run your station for nearly a year before the data got overwritten - if you really need to go for that long without allowing your PC to download the data, then you'll need to look for some other software I'm afraid, as Cumulus isn't designed to work that way.
From the Cumulus readme.txt file:
"Note that Cumulus won't be able to operate correctly if you set your station logger interval to more than hour (and an hour itself may cause problems). It is recommended that you use an interval of around 5 to 15 minutes to get the best use of your data."
If you want to set the station logger interval to a more reasonable value (perhaps you didn't intend for it to be two hours), you can either use EasyWeather if you have that installed, or my SetLogger utility from the downloads page.
